Ovenlight CookiesBaked to order Order

The story

It started with one tray.

One oven, one recipe and a kitchen light left on late. The crew grew from there, one cookie at a time.

One tray to start

The first cookies were baked for a neighbor's birthday. The tin came back empty with a note asking for more, and that was the first order.

The first of the crew

Walnut Chunk was the first recipe to stick. It is still the one most boxes start with, and the first face we drew.

Simple ingredients

Butter, flour, eggs and good chocolate, bought as close to the kitchen as we can. Small batches, fresh to order, flavor over flash.

The window

When the orders outgrew the front step, we opened a walk-up window. It slides open on Saturday mornings and closes when the racks are empty.

Why “Ovenlight”?

The name comes from the small light inside the oven door — the last one on in the kitchen on a bake night.

The mark

A name and a badge.

The wordmark goes on the boxes. The round badge goes on everything else.
