Four steps. Then it hangs.

We do not keep a warehouse of looks. A fixture is patterned, poured, seated and hung. The drawing and the object are the same conversation.

Sequence

From section to hang.

The ring is drawn as a section. Major radius, minor radius, the seat for the glass. Nothing decorative is added on the sheet.

Bronze is cast as one piece. The outer face is brushed. The inner channel is left to take the light.

A glass slit is set on the inner face. The emitter sits behind it. The join is meant to disappear.

Canopy, cable, one height. We hang it in the room it was measured for and leave the rest of the ceiling alone.

The room

The studio holds a Halo, a Column and a Disc in the same volume. Come sit under them. If a piece is right, we cast yours to the same drawing.
